Vicki Evans

Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives & Relationship Management

Vicki Evans brings over 23 years of sales management, business development, advanced case design and underwriting experience to her position with GFD as Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives & Relationship Management. Most recently, Ms. Evans was Vice President, National Accounts at AIG,  where she oversaw life and annuity distribution within the brokerage division. 

Prior to AIG, Ms. Evans spent over a decade with National Financial Partners, where she held multiple, senior leadership roles, chief among which was President, NFP Life Brokerage. Ms. Evans other roles at NFP include SVP, Insurance Services, SVP Strategic Underwriting and Advanced Case Design, Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of Business Development. During her tenure with NFP, Vicki also designed and implemented the Special Case Unit which was tasked with providing customized, concierge services for ultra-high premium life insurance cases.

Before joining NFP, Evans held the role of regional vice president at two leading life insurance companies, where she developed new products and innovative marketing strategies. She started in the insurance industry as an agent with AXA (The Equitable). Evans received her Bachelors of Business Administration in management from Texas State University and has a Chartered Life Underwriter designation.

Brandi Pyles

Senior Financial Services Manager and Director, Strategic Accounts

With nearly 15 years experience in the insurance industry, Brandi Pyles brings extensive cross-functional expertise in both IMO and carrier environments to her role as Senior Financial Services Manager and Director, Strategic Accounts with GFD. Ms. Pyles' responsibilities include developing and building new field and carrier relationships, cementing significant current relationships and working on identifying and implementing new market initiatives.

Ms. Pyles joined the GFD team in 2012 as Director of Sales and Finance. Prior to joining the GFD team, Ms. Pyles spent 6 years as Director of Product Strategy with a nationally recognized boutique FMO where she created and led agent educational initiatives.

Prior to her FMO experience, Ms. Pyles was a highly successful Sales Manager with Old Mutual Financial in the Annuity Sales division.

In her early insurance career, Ms. Pyles held several positions at the agency level providing her broad expertise with agent support and direct client interaction.

Ms. Pyles holds a CLU designation and is currently enrolled at the The American College in order to obtain her ChFC designation.

Suzy Turner

Suzy Turner joined Global Financial Distributors (GFD) in 2009 and brings over 10 years of experience in the banking and insurance industry to her role as a Senior Financial Services Manager.  In her current role Ms. Turner is responsible for distribution relationships, case management and training.

Formerly an Internal Wholesaler of Variable Products with Old Mutual Life Insurance and before that with Jackson National Life Insurance, Ms. Turner brings a strong track record of insurance sales and marketing to the GFD team.  In addition to her Insurance industry experience, Ms. Turner worked as a relationship banker with BB&T.

Ms. Turner received her BBA in Finance from Kennesaw State University and she holds Series 6, 63 and 26 licenses as well as Georgia Life and Health and Georgia Variable Products licenses.

With more than 22 years of experience in the banking and financial service industries,  Jon Scaman brings extensive first-hand knowledge and case experience to his role as a Senior Financial Services Manager with Global Financial Distributors (GFD).

Prior to joining GFD parent company Entaire Global in 2005, Mr. Scaman worked as an Independent Registered Investment advisor for four years with clients throughout the state of Georgia. Mr. Scaman worked from 1995-2001 with the Citi Group as a financial services advisor. Prior to that, Mr. Scaman worked with Bank of America in California – beginning his banking career with them in 1988.

Mr. Scaman’s experience in the insurance and banking industry enable him to provide agents with comprehensive case support assistance as well as prospecting assistance and training.
